Intel Solutions Summit 2011

Las Vegas, Nevada - February 27th - March 1st, 2011

One of the most important Information Technology events of the year was held on February 27 at the Venetian Resort Hotel Casino in Fabulous Las Vegas. Aimed at the customized IT solutions channel, this year's ISS (Intel Solutions Summit) 2011 event is themed "A Smarter Future Together".

This event is invitation-only and geared strictly toward IT professionals with a focus on Business Solutions. As Intel puts it: "We're moving beyond 'business as usual' to offer you more opportunities than ever for targeted and meaningful interactions. The agenda is being built to maximize your valuable time away from the office. Less lectures, and more time spent on planning, strategy, and relationship building."

Source Support was there, reinforcing our strategic relationships with many of our top partners such as iX Systems, Ciara Technologies, Seneca, and many more. There were many things that I personally took away from this event. Well, for one Intel's theme was spot on. "A Smarter Future Together". I thought to myself that if others could really have a think and grasp this concept, they would see what I see. In the service world it makes perfect sense. I see the true value-add that Source Support has to offer. We do not make desktops, servers, or clusters. We do not sell a re-branded product from another manufacturer, instead we focus on what we do best, supporting you. You, your products, and most importantly, your customers are what we deal with on a daily basis to provide you a true, superior competitive advantage. This allows you to focus your attention on building better products and locating new customers. This concept is what we like to call the Core Competency Maximizer™ which basically means that each of us focuses on our strengths thus creating the premier total solution for your customers. Business as usual? I guess for some, but not for Source Support. Together through our partnerships we are changing the way IT manufacturers and end- customers around the globe view support. Setting new standards for global on-site support. We have been supporting this industry for many years, and believe me there is nothing usual about that.
