Pre-Installation services for unloading newly arrived equipment, unboxing, and inspecting it. This ensures the equipment has not been damaged in transit and is properly handled in preparation for system set up and installation.
Basic Hardware Installation services including unpacking, inspecting and inventory of new product, rack setup, cabling verification, system power up and set up of initial networks connectivity.
Advanced System Installation services including unpacking, inspecting and inventory of new product, rack setup, cabling verification, system power up, system and console configuration, setting up administration connectivity and applications, setting up and initializing storage and installation interface adapters, if necessary, as well as multiple IP addressing for the system.
De-Installation services for removing pilot/try-and-buy or permanent removal of end-of-life or competitive systems. This service includes power down sequences, unracking, packing, and hardware removal, including all cables and blank panels.
Each installation and de-installation service is assigned a project manager who works with the customer as part of their services team to coordinate and schedule Source resources. Then, each engagement is monitored by project management and backed by our Support Operations Center, which provides technical assistance when necessary and tracks our field service professional’s time on-site and the successful completion of the service.
