Organization/Department: Logistics 
Reports To: Logistics Supervisor 

Position Overview

Source supports a broad, diverse set of customers. Logistics Coordinator / Project Planners are responsible for planning and actions for various partners as it relates to managing the end-to-end global logistics processes. This position would be responsible for gathering/ analyzing information reporting. Ensures the logistics / parts for onsite work by following a defined process. May also evaluates current procedures and recommend changes to improve the efficiency of planning and logistics functions. Monitors compliance levels and identifies reasons for failures. Works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. Typically requires 0-2 years of related experience and expected to strive for continuous improvement individually and as a team. Logistics experience is preferred.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Quickly & efficiently responding to customer/partner requests for logistics support
  • Monitoring all inbound communications to ensure that all channels (phone & email) are handled promptly & that none are missed.
  • Work and interface with 3PL services/vendors and any other tasks needed to provide quality Logistics services.
  • Coordinate with Help Desk & Customer to troubleshoot and resolve delivery issues.
  • Proactively communicate with carriers to track and resolve all current and potential issues.
  • Prepare and present regular internal and external reports for management.
  • Projecting a professional, can-do attitude in all written & verbal communications
  • Adhering to established procedures & protocols to ensure superior customer satisfaction
  • Delivering responsiveness & integrity in all customer communications
  • Accurately documenting, tracking & monitoring all actions to ensure timely resolution.
  • Seeking aid & help from Logistics staff as needed
  • Escalating to Logistics management and partners per established procedures
  • Working with the partners and team members to accomplish assigned goals & objectives.
  • Performing other duties and projects as assigned

Education and Experience

  • Associate degree in Computer Science or equivalent industry experience
  • 2+ years working in a customer-facing service or support role
  • Knowledge of Project Management Processes (i.e. Waterfall, Agile, etc.)

Required Technical Skills

  • Working knowledge of Office 365 (Outlook & Excel, in particular)
  • Can-do attitude paired with ability & desire to quickly learn new processes and technologies
  • Case management experience in Salesforce Service Cloud preferred

  • Manage all internal & external interactions in a professional and courteous manner
